MADELINE WILLIAMS
Madeline began her professional communications endeavors while attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She wrote news stories, conducted interviews and photographed for The Penn, an independent newspaper based in Indiana, PA, and was a member of IUP-TV, which broadcasts on a local Indiana station.
After graduating from IUP with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Spanish, Williams accepted an internship with a local, professional soccer team, the Harrisburg City Islanders. Williams was employed as the Marketing and Communications Manager, where she drove marketing efforts and was the liaison between the team, the community, and media. In March 2018, she resigned after two years. It was then that she launched her own web series, With Madeline Renee, that she used to showcase businessmen and women, and community members promoting positive change in the Harrisburg area.
Madeline also brings experience in event coordinating, in both the profit and nonprofit industries, to the Capital Rebirth team. Prior to her most recent position, she worked as an event coordinator for the Feel Your Boobies Foundation.
With the organization, she hopes to continue connecting the people with resources and opportunities to help them grow personally, academically, and professionally.
Currently, Madeline serves as the press assistant for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf in Harrisburg.
